Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Mill (ranked 4067 p4p, 4266 weight class) and Dante Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 508 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dante Bishop!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop shoots in for a double leg but Mill sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Mill tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bishop sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mill somewhat.
Bishop will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
We've been told by Mill's head coaches at Old Irish’s Fighter Factory that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Bishop moves into range and clinches up with Mill.
Mill tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Bishop avoids it.
The referee calls for Bishop to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Mill tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bishop wants to counter with a clinch but Mill pushes him away.

and Bishop holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Bishop ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bishop no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Mill is looking to stand up but Bishop won't let him.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Mill in particular looking to stall.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bishop can do anything to dispel that myth.

Mill is looking for a kimura but Bishop is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mill to get the leverage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Mill thows a huge punch but Bishop dodges it nicely.

Mill gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Bishop regains guard.
Bishop is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Mill dives into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mill cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Mill has hold of Bishop's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bishop manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
