Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hoe Logan (ranked 4357 p4p, 4287 weight class) and Jari Kuokkanen (ranked 506 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jari Kuokkanen!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Logan getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Kuokkanen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Logan lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Kuokkanen misses with a hook. Logan ducked under it nicely.
Logan moves away from the strike by Kuokkanen.
Logan cracks Kuokkanen with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

It looks like Jari Kuokkanen has been cut.
Kuokkanen misses with a looping left.
Kuokkanen throws a big shot that misses.
Logan scores with a hook to the body. Kuokkanen takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Logan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kuokkanen looks to score with a jab to the body but Logan is just out of range.
Logan connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Logan cracks Kuokkanen with a right hand to the side of the head.

Kuokkanen doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Logan lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Logan lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Kuokkanen fails to pull guard.
Kuokkanen throws a punch but it's blocked by Logan.
Kuokkanen tries to pull guard but Logan won't allow it.
Logan lands with a right to the head.
Logan lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Kuokkanen tumbles to the floor! Logan threw a big shot that dropped him and now Logan is on top looking to finish! Kuokkanen has guard but can he survive?!
Kuokkanen is still in real trouble! Can Logan finish him?
Logan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Logan is sitting in close to Kuokkanen's body. Kuokkanen has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Logan is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Logan is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Kuokkanen.
