The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Koalani has Curry up against the cage in a clinch.
Koalani tries to land knees in the clinch but Curry avoids the damage to the body.
A left hand lands to the body for Koalani.

Koalani has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Curry uses from the top position.
Koalani manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Curry manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Koalani lands a couple of elbows.

Koalani gets to his feet. Curry looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Curry tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Koalani fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Koalani cracks Curry with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Curry looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Koalani finish him?

Curry is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Koalani throws a quick head kick that knocks Curry silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Koalani is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.

After winning the bout, Ikaika Koalani thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
