Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between aj styles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Muhammed Lawal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from styles. No joy for Lawal on that attempt.
Lawal looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
styles tries to clinch but Lawal is having none of it.
styles shoots in for a double leg but Lawal sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and styles counters with a shoot takedown. Lawal fights it but they end up in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
styles is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

styles thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lawal's head.

styles seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Lawal is looking for a triangle here but styles uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

styles wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lawal keeps working.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lawal is in a horrible position here. styles smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Lawal is squirming around, avoiding styles's attempts to control the action.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Lawal tries to improve his position but styles has taken his back! styles has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Lawal tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! styles pushes Lawal away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
