Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Barral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hickson Hooah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barral comes into the arena with Insane in the Brain blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hickson Hooah!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Emerson Jorge and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barral shoots for a double leg takedown but Hooah sprawls well. He's pushed Barral's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hooah looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Barral thuds his shin into the meat of Hooah's side.
Hooah fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Barral sprawls well initially but Hooah persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Hooah is working for a submission of some sort.
Barral is trying to maintain the position but Hooah is very close to passing his half guard.
Barral wants to improve his position but Hooah is controlling well.
Hooah is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Barral doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hooah.

Hooah seems to be looking for submissions.
Barral tries to roll over but Hooah keeps him under control.
Hooah is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Barral defends it well.
Barral gets full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hooah trying to control but Barral is working from the bottom.
Hooah is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Barral is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Barral has escaped and now he's on top!
Hooah looks gassed!
Hooah looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Barral is sitting in close to Hooah's body. Hooah has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Barral is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Barral is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Hooah.
