Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Robert Cap!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David House!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Chad Campbell and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

House clinches up with Cap and pushes him back against the cage.
Cap is trying to pull guard but House turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
House working hard to break the clinch.
Cap can't find room to land a body shot as House controls the action.

Cap had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. House defends it easily.
House must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Cap is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

House tries to get to full guard but Cap has control of the leg.

Cap is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so House is just riding it out for now. Cap eventually gives up the hold.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cap is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

You can see the frustration on House's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Cap tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cap has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
House manages to work his way to half guard, despite Cap's best efforts.

Cap is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
