Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ronny Drezko (ranked 3397 p4p, 2683 weight class) and Sam Short (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronny Drezko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sam Short!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drezko misses with a looping left.
Nice takedown defense from Drezko. No joy for Short on that attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Short.
A quick step to the side and Drezko tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Short shoots in looking for a takedown. Drezko tries to sprawl out of it but Short keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Drezko manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ronny Drezko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Short.
Drezko cracks Short with a good jab.

Short darts in looking for a takedown but Drezko gets double underhooks and turns Short into the cage.
Drezko instigates a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Short jumps guard but Drezko stands there with Short around his waist. Short gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Short jumps into guard, dragging Drezko to the mat.
Short is looking to cinch up a triangle. Drezko throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Short's body to avoid the submission. Short has instead reached around Drezko's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Short arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Sam Short!
An out of breath Sam Short thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
