The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vargas Medina shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Loiseau napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Vargas Medina knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Loiseau on the ground.
Loiseau tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Vargas Medina wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Loiseau manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Vargas Medina has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Loiseau to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Vargas Medina is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Loiseau pulls down on the head and he's put Vargas Medina to sleep! This one is all over!
