And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Siale Veainu!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonov lands with a thumping leg kick.
Leonov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Veainu appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Leonov with a nice calf kick.
Leonov misses with a double jab
and Veainu counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Nikolay Leonov has been cut.
Leonov wants to slow Veainu down by chopping away at his legs.
Veainu has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Veainu looks to throw the jab but Leonov is out of range.
Leonov scores with a nice head shot.
Leonov connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Veainu momentarily.
Leonov moves out of range as Veainu strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Leonov with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Leonov digs a good hook to Veainu's body.
Leonov's jab looks to have found its range, popping Veainu under the eye.

Veainu takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Veainu on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Leonov is looking to chop away at Veainu's legs.
Veainu takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Leonov scores with the left hand. Veainu knows he should have avoided that one.
Veainu misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Leonov.
Leonov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Leonov lands with an uppercut that bounces Veainu off the cage and back into range.
Leonov connects with an inside leg kick.
Veainu scores with a shot to the body.
Leonov walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Veainu checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Leonov attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Leonov is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.

and Veainu counters with a crisp right hand that drops Leonov! Veainu lets Leonov back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Leonov is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Leonov lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nice uppercut lands for Leonov. That snapped Veainu's head back.
A low kick from Leonov misses
and Veainu rattles Leonov with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Leonov tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Veainu dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Leonov stiff and motionless on the mat!
