Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Seok Yi (ranked 2320 p4p, 2427 weight class) and Mario Santos (ranked 239 p4p, 249 weight class). Yi comes to the cage accompanied by Chris Travis - We Up. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Yi.

Yi avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Nice straight punches there by Santos. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Santos.

Yi bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Santos's head.
Santos tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Yi paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Seok Yi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A looping hook to the body misses from Yi. Santos does a little dance to reset his feet.

Santos is looking to clinch but Yi is avoiding it.

Santos has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Yi seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Santos can turn it around.
Santos tries to stall but Yi uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Yi can't find room to land a body shot as Santos controls the action.

Yi ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Yi no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Yi is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

That was a close round but I would say that Seok Yi will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
