Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nelson Palau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Quid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palau comes to the cage accompanied by Bob Marley - I shot the sherif. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Palau takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Quid scores with a nice strike.
Quid goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Nelson Palau has been cut.
Quid thows a body shot but no joy.
Johnny Quid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Palau bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Quid moves in looking to clinch but Palau pushes him off.

Palau with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Quid to score with a decent uppercut.

Quid ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Palau moves away.

Palau ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A punch lands to the side of Palau 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Quid throws a good cross that connects.
Quid has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Quid connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Nelson Palau is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Quid missing with a left hand there. Palau was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Palau fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Palau shoots in looking for a takedown. Quid tries to sprawl out of it but Palau keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Quid manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Quid is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
