The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hook shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pills is trying to defend but Hook finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Pills is looking to control Hook's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Pills avoid being mounted?

Let's hope that Hook has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

It looks like Hook might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Hook feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Andre Hook comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hook has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
