The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Thrax throws a front kick aimed at Suckerson's knee but Suckerson avoids it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Suckerson tries a low kick but Thrax avoids it.
Thrax only half commits to the counter leg kick.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tuff Suckerson.
