Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Phet Mongkut (ranked 2383 p4p, 2314 weight class) and Roko Matijevic (ranked 246 p4p, 240 weight class). Mongkut comes to the cage accompanied by Piphat Ensemble. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roko Matijevic!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Anthony Taglia and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matijevic scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Mongkut clinches.
Mongkut scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Mongkut is trying to maintain a safe position but Matijevic gets an underhook and turns Mongkut into the cage.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Mongkut scores with a nice short uppercut.
Matijevic struggles to land a body shot inside as Mongkut controls his hands.
Mongkut's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Mongkut manages to break the clinch.
Mongkut wants to clinch up but Matijevic keeps it at a distance.
Matijevic takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Mongkut bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Mongkut has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Rough House in the buildup to the fight.
Mongkut slips under a jab.
Matijevic throws a right and a left that both miss.
It appears Mongkut was looking to counter with a kick there.
A chopping leg kick lands by Mongkut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mongkut lands a lovely overhand right.
Mongkut tries to land a front kick but Matijevic steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Matijevic ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Matijevic slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Mongkut tries to clinch but Matijevic is having none of it.

Mongkut uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Matijevic.

Matijevic looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Mongkut tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Matijevic counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Mongkut connects with a leg kick.
Mongkut looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Matijevic throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mongkut stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Mongkut swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Mongkut looks to throw the jab but Matijevic is out of range.
Mongkut throws the left hand but Matijevic avoids the punch easily.
Matijevic lands the left hand.
Matijevic works Mongkut's body with a nice hook.

Mongkut is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mongkut glances at the clock... BAM! Matijevic nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Mongkut crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Mongkut is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
