The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Fondue tries to close the distance and clinch but Jackson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Jackson looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Fondue is trying to control the position but Jackson postures up.
Jackson is looking to work some ground and pound but Fondue has wrist control.

Fondue is working an open guard so Jackson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Jackson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
No luck for Fondue with that takedown attempt.
Jackson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Fondue shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jackson pinned against the cage. Jackson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fondue is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fondue has left one of his arms exposed and Jackson doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Fondue screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
