The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Adams shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tarasov but Tarasov pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Tarasov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Adams has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tarasov has managed to get both his arms back between Adams's legs - danger averted.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Tarasov is taking a breather. Adams says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Tarasov is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Adams is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
