Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonesy McGuffin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Danny Buijs !
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buijs lands with a nice body kick.
Buijs will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Nice straight punches there by McGuffin. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of McGuffin.
Buijs is trying hard to land a takedown here. McGuffin sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
McGuffin scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Buijs checks a low kick from McGuffin.
McGuffin stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The fighters circle momentarily. McGuffin darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Buijs takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jonesy McGuffin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McGuffin scores with a jab. Buijs acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Buijs throws a right hand that McGuffin ducks under and follows up with a left that McGuffin also avoids with ease.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Buijs fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Jonesy McGuffin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danny Buijs .
McGuffin jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
McGuffin wants to land a leg kick but Buijs is out of range.
McGuffin scores with a nice head shot.
Buijs is rocked!
An inside leg kick from Buijs misses.
Buijs shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McGuffin pinned against the cage. McGuffin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

McGuffin looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Buijs !
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Buijs defending against the ground and pound.
McGuffin lands a nice forearm strike.
Buijs is still in real trouble! Can McGuffin finish him?
McGuffin thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

McGuffin tries to score with some ground and pound. Buijs controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Buijs seems to have recovered his senses.
Buijs is trying to improve his position.
McGuffin is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Buijs is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
McGuffin is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Buijs has escaped the position, nice work there.

Buijs tries to bench press McGuffin off him but McGuffin keeps the position.
McGuffin with the ground and pound but Buijs regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
McGuffin misses with a head shot. Buijs uses the momentum to regain guard.
McGuffin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Buijs on the ground.
McGuffin postures up in Buijs 's guard and throws a big left but Buijs blocks it.
McGuffin throws a strike but Buijs rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Buijs accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Buijs tries to stand but McGuffin is controlling from the bottom.
McGuffin looking for a guillotine here but Buijs defends easily.
Buijs seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Buijs is fighting to break McGuffin's control of his arms but McGuffin is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
McGuffin thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
McGuffin striking off his back but it's not causing Buijs any problems.
Buijs stands and throws McGuffin's legs to the side, diving into side control.
McGuffin is looking to reverse the position.
McGuffin manages to get back to half guard.
McGuffin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
McGuffin is working hard here to advance position.
Buijs thows a huge punch but McGuffin dodges it nicely.
Buijs wants to control but McGuffin is keeping him busy.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jonesy McGuffin dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
McGuffin connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Buijs 's hands.
McGuffin's jab looks to have found its range, popping Buijs under the eye.
Buijs takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
McGuffin lands with a right hand.
McGuffin throws a leg kick but Buijs checks it.
Buijs on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Jonesy McGuffin is winning the standup battle so far.
McGuffin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Buijs fails with an attempt to clinch.
Buijs throws a head kick but McGuffin moves out of range.
Buijs tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but McGuffin defends well and Buijs ends up having to push McGuffin into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Buijs takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McGuffin cracks Buijs with a right hand to the side of the head.
Buijs tries to clinch there but McGuffin circles away.
Buijs takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Jab, jab by McGuffin - just one landing.
Buijs walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Buijs takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
McGuffin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Buijs wants to clinch.
Buijs moves out of range of the body kick.
Buijs avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
McGuffin misses with a looping left.
McGuffin lands a jab to the nose.
Buijs shoots for a double leg takedown but McGuffin sprawls well. He's pushed Buijs 's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Buijs moves forwards but McGuffin connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Buijs finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under McGuffin's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Buijs falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jonesy McGuffin!
