The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin shoots in for a takedown but Doidelzen shows good takedown defense.
Doidelzen looks to land a combination but Martin avoids it well.
Doidelzen throws a left that rocks Martin and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Doidelzen dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Martin regain composure!

It looks like Astyn Martin has been cut.
Martin is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Doidelzen off and has taken his back!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Martin is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Doidelzen has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Martin has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Doidelzen taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Martin doesn't care though - he's delighted!
