Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Benito Roncalli (ranked 4740 p4p, 4820 weight class) and Jake Leons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Benito Roncalli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Leons!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leons throws a head kick that misses.
Leons avoids a kick to the body.
Leons takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Leons fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Roncalli, pushing him back against the cage.
Roncalli fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Roncalli swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Roncalli is looking to control Leons's arms but Leons gets an underhook and turns him. Now Roncalli has his back to the cage.

Leons decides to pull guard.
Roncalli wants to get up but he can't break Leons's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Leons manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Roncalli manages to get himself to full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Leons throws a big elbow that misses.
Leons has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Roncalli is looking to stand up but Leons isn't so interested in that idea.
Roncalli has momentary wrist control but Leons slips an elbow through the middle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Leons gets to his feet. Roncalli looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Leons moves out of range of the strikes.

Leons gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Roncalli misses with a punch on the inside.
Leons is trying to drag Roncalli to the mat but Roncalli just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Leons decides to pull guard.
Leons has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Roncalli wants to stand but Leons is controlling his posture from full guard.
Leons manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Roncalli manages to get himself to full guard.


That's two minutes gone in the round.
Leons passes Roncalli's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Roncalli has hold of Leons's hands but Leons slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Leons controlling the action here.
Leons is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Leons unloading with bombs!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Leons controlling his opponent.
Let's hope that Leons has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Leons scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Roncalli?

Roncalli is rocked!
Leons sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Leons.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Roncalli is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Leons tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Leons working for a guillotine from mount but Roncalli is in no mood to give up.
Roncalli is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Leons has taken his back!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Leons is landing with strikes from the back.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Jake Leons dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Roncalli throws a sloppy head kick

and Leons counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Roncalli has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Leons pulls guard successfully.

Roncalli is posturing up here but Leons has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Roncalli tries to roll out but it's too tight and Roncalli has to tap! Slick submission there by Leons!
