The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McMufty.
McMufty misses the shot to the body.
A jab from Rua does it's job there.
Rua is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rua looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Rua lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
McMufty throws an overhand right that lands on Rua's shoulder, as Rua tries to avoid the shot.
McMufty takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
McMufty fails with the takedown.
Rua rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McMufty moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A punch combination from Rua misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The fighters circling - McMufty throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Rua tries to close the distance and clinch but McMufty swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rua throws a quick inside leg kick.
Rua tries to clinch but McMufty is having none of it.
Rua lands a head kick. McMufty smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Rua ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Rua wants to clinch up but McMufty keeps it at a distance.
McMufty is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Rua.

McMufty is rocked!

Rua moves into range and clinches up with McMufty.
McMufty can't get the takedown.
Rua lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
McMufty is still on wobbly legs! Can Rua finish him?
Rua lands an elbow inside that McMufty shrugs off.
Rua working the clinch nicely. McMufty is working for position but Rua cracks him with a big knee to the head! McMufty crumples up against the cage and Rua lands two more shots before the ref can save McMufty! This one is all over!
