Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donnie Darko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mac is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Fight Song. Big Mac has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Donnie Darko's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donnie Darko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Big Mac!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darko throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Donnie Darko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Darko swinging wilding here.
Mac has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Big Mac has been cut.
Mac will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mac shoots in for a takedown but Darko shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Darko shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Mac counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mac throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Darko is trying to stand back up but Mac is controlling him
Mac trying to control the action but Darko is working from the bottom.

Mac wants to pass to mount but Darko is defending the position.
Darko might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Darko flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Mac throwing shots but Darko is blocking nicely.
Mac thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Darko misses with a jab, cross combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mac shoots in but no luck this time.
Donnie Darko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Big Mac.
Mac looks gassed!
Darko lands a left and a right that sends Mac crashing to the canvas! Darko dives into mount looking to finish!

Mac is rocked!
Darko unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Mac wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Darko celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
