Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Erska Elk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Deacon Mayer!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayer throws out a loose jab but Elk uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mayer tries to close the distance and clinch but Elk swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mayer throws a right and a left that both miss.
Elk avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nice uppercut lands for Mayer. That snapped Elk's head back.
It looks like Erska Elk has been cut.
Elk throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mayer clobbers Elk with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Elk uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mayer.
A decent looking cross lands there for Elk.
Mayer tries to clinch up but Elk circles away and keeps his distance.
Elk throwing a counter right hand but Mayer manages to avoid it.
Mayer throws a jab when Elk was well out of range.
Mayer uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Elk.
Elk shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Elk takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Mayer moves out of range of the leg kick from Elk.
Mayer swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Mayer fails to land with a series of punches.
Elk moves out of range as Mayer strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mayer throws out a loose jab but Elk uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mayer steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Elk.
Mayer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Elk scores with a jab to the jaw.
Oooooh!!! Mayer has knocked Elk down with a huge combo! Mayer steps away and waves a wobbly Elk back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Elk is rocked!
Erska Elk's cut is getting worse.
Mayer cracks Elk with a left hook right on the temple and Elk goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Mayer lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Elk is OK!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Deacon Mayer!
During a confident post fight interview, Deacon Mayer thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
