Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Terd Furguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Furguson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, We Got the Beat. Smith is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Blink 182 feat Robert Smith - All of This. Robert Smith is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Terd Furguson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Furguson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Smith looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Furguson puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Furguson passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Smith!
Furguson working the ground and pound effectively.
Smith is looking to improve his position but Furguson isn't that keen on the idea.
Smith is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Furguson trying to control but Smith is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Smith is wriggling around trying to escape.

Smith throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smith bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Furguson keeping moving, preventing Smith from controlling successfully.
Smith trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Furguson trying to keep a closed guard but Smith is proving a slippery customer.
Smith stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Furguson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Furguson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Smith can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Smith has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Furguson is proving hard to escape from.
Smith is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Smith drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Furguson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Smith has Furguson in his guard.
Smith looks gassed!

Furguson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Furguson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Smith swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Furguson is working hard here to advance position.

Furguson wants to control from the top but Smith keeps moving.

Furguson is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there.
Smith wants to sweep but no luck.

Smith pulls Furguson in close to prevent any damage.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Furguson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Smith swivels and escapes.
Smith gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Furguson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Smith pushes a forearm under Furguson's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Furguson is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
