Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Caio Carvalho (ranked 4389 p4p, 4463 weight class) and Jukka Kaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Caio Carvalho!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jukka Kaki!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaki throws a poor cross that misses
and Carvalho counters with a shoot takedown. Kaki fights it but they end up in guard.

Carvalho makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Kaki has momentary wrist control but Carvalho slips an elbow through the middle.
Carvalho connects with a couple of short punches.
Carvalho keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kaki's head.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Carvalho accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Carvalho is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Carvalho tries to free his leg and advance position but Kaki is retaining full guard.

Carvalho cracks Kaki with a solid left hand.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Carvalho lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Carvalho is nestled in close to Kaki, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Carvalho winds up and cracks Kaki with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Carvalho wants to free his trapped foot but Kaki is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Carvalho lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Carvalho is trying for a kimura here. Kaki looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Carvalho wins by kimura!

In his post fight interview, Caio Carvalho started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
