Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Padraig Ahearn (ranked 807 p4p, 1478 weight class) and Everest Frank (ranked 25 p4p, 53 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Frank's choice of entrance music: Knife Talk x Drake ft. 21 Savage x Project Pat. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Padraig Ahearn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Everest Frank!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Ben Hemmingworth and Darius Henderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frank fails with the takedown.
Ahearn throws a hook to the side of Frank's head but Frank sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Frank shoots in but no luck this time.
Frank has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Ahearn lands a jab to Frank's midsection.
Ahearn scores with a nice strike.

and Frank counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Ahearn looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Frank is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Ahearn is looking for a triangle here but Frank uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
