Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Craig Kelly!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly lands a two punch combo.
Kelly fails with the takedown

and Altieri counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Altieri lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Kelly wants to get back to his feet.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Altieri connects with a nice short shot to Kelly's temple.
Kelly is looking to escape.
Altieri performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Kelly looks like he's trying to stand up.

Altieri is nestled in close to Kelly, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Altieri seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Kelly pushes Altieri off looking to stand but Altieri dives back in and keeps control.
Altieri seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Altieri is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Kelly manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Altieri keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Altieri tries to land knees in the clinch but Kelly avoids the damage to the body.
Kelly is trying to break the clinch but Altieri has him pressed against the cage.
Kelly is looking to break free of the clinch but Altieri has double underhooks.

Altieri gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Kelly scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Altieri manages to mount him!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kelly is trying to stand.
Kelly really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Altieri. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
BOOM! Altieri connects with a massive shot to the dome!

It looks like Craig Kelly has been cut.
Altieri fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Kelly is rocked!
Altieri postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Kelly bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Altieri and the fight is over!
