Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ashwin Tyson (ranked 1130 p4p, 4028 weight class) and Sergei MiG (ranked 155 p4p, 481 weight class). MiG has chosen Zombie as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MiG shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tyson as he jumps to the side.
Tyson swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and MiG counters with a straight right hand.
Tyson throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
MiG shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tyson as he avoids it easily.
MiG tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Tyson tries to land a front kick but MiG steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Tyson tries a head kick but it misses.
MiG tries to counter with a clinch but Tyson shakes him off and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

MiG takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

MiG looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tyson is fending him off so far but MiG persists. Nope, Tyson circles away and we're back to standing.
Ashwin Tyson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sergei MiG.

MiG closes the distance and clinches.

Tyson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

MiG moves into range and clinches up with Tyson.

MiG throws a punch but it's blocked by Tyson.
MiG swings away with an uppercut that misses.

MiG shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tyson as he jumps to the side.
A combination from Tyson does no damage.
The fight stays on the outside here - MiG looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
MiG gets cracked there but stands up to it.

MiG is rocked!
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Tyson moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt MiG! Tyson continues to tee off on MiG, landing with a left and a right! Tyson connects with a right hand that leaves MiG sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Tyson!
