The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Veto slips a jab from Li Citra.
Veto looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Veto swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Veto lands a nice shot that snaps Li Citra's head back.
Li Citra throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Li Citra throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Veto sees it coming and avoids it easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Veto! But no joy.

and Veto counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Li Citra lands with an uppercut that bounces Veto off the cage and back into range.
