Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Jake Askren!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Askren fails to land with a series of punches.
Valentine throwing a counter right hand but Askren manages to avoid it.
Askren connects with a body shot that sends Valentine's belly button to the back.
Askren ducks right into an uppercut from Valentine.
Askren takes a swing at Valentine's ribcage but misses.
Valentine half committed to a counter leg kick.
Askren rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Valentine counters with a straight right hand.
Valentine walks into a stiff left hand from Askren.
Askren throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Valentine throwing a counter right hand but Askren manages to avoid it.
Valentine gets tackled into the cage by Askren. Askren maintains the clinch.
Valentine tries to break free but Askren pushes him back against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Askren fails to land.
Askren throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Valentines head.
Valentine has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Valentine is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Askren lands with a short punch from the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Valentine is looking to break free of the clinch but Askren has double underhooks.
Valentine's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Askren takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Valentine counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Askren jabs Valentine to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Askren tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Valentine defends well and Askren ends up having to push Valentine into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Valentine ducks under a wild hook from Askren.
Askren misses with a few strikes there.
As Askren looks to move away, Valentine throws a big counter combo but Askren just gets out of the way.
Askren throws a predictable looking body shot
and Valentine counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Askren throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Valentine swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Askren wants to clinch.
And Valentine counters with a quick kick to the body but Askren blocks it.
Askren misses with a few strikes there.
A little feinted left hand from Valentine on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

and Valentine counters with a nice uppercut.
Nice shot lands for Askren.
Valentine slips under a jab.
Askren throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Valentine fires out a quick counter leg kick but Askren just manages to avoid it.
Valentine displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Askren.
Valentine feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Giggle Valentine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Askren.
Valentine takes one on the button.

Askren slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

and Valentine connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Askren throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Valentine counters with a big right hand! Oh Askren is in trouble here! Valentine follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
