Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nishan Zeroun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zeroun forces Wilson back against the cage and clinches.

Wilson lands a takedown into guard.

Wilson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Wilson passes Zeroun's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Zeroun tries to kick Wilson off but Wilson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Zeroun makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Zeroun.

Zeroun bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wilson's guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wilson is on top in guard.
Wilson wants to control from the top but Zeroun keeps moving.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Wilson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Zeroun is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Zeroun controls Wilson momentarily but Wilson frees himself.
Zeroun lands an upkick as Wilson stands over him.
Wilson prevents Zeroun from getting back to his feet.

Zeroun has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Wilson off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Zeroun lands the left hand.

It looks like James Wilson has been cut.
Wilson looks gassed!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Zeroun.

No joy there for Wilson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Wilson counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

With the fighters up against the cage, Wilson throws an elbow but misses.

Zeroun breaks from the clinch.
Wilson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Zeroun as he jumps to the side.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Zeroun misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Zeroun misses with a few strikes there.
Wilson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Zeroun fails with an attempt to clinch.
Zeroun lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Wilson backs up against the cage.
Some wild striking there from Zeroun.
Zeroun scores with a shot to the body.
Zeroun throws a nice looking combination but Wilson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Zeroun has managed to clinch.
Wilson misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Zeroun.

Zeroun escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Zeroun's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Zeroun duly obliges.

Wilson is rocked!
Zeroun is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Wilson hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
