Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pat Garrett!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garrett shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Nakatani sprawls well. Nakatani wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Garrett gets slowly back to his feet.

Garrett feints a jab promting Nakatani to slip. Garrett then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Nakatani slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Garrett looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Garrett wants to counter with a clinch but Nakatani pushes him away.

Aki Nakatani has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pat Garrett.
Nakatani pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Garrett has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Nakatani is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Nakatani tries to land knees in the clinch but Garrett avoids the damage to the body.
Garrett is looking to control Nakatani's arms but Nakatani gets an underhook and turns him. Now Garrett has his back to the cage.

Garrett escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nakatani throws a head kick but Garrett moves out of range.

and Garrett counters with a crisp one two that drops Nakatani! Garrett thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Nakatani to his feet! Nakatani is in big trouble!

Garrett connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Oh Nakatani is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Garrett shoots in looking for a takedown. Nakatani tries to sprawl out of it but Garrett keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nakatani manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Garrett connects with a stiff jab that staggers Nakatani - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
