Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andrei Snakovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Knight!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Eliza Hachem and Ben Watson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snakovic shoots in looking for a takedown. Knight tries to sprawl out of it but Snakovic keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Knight manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Knight moves in looking to clinch but Snakovic pushes him off.
Snakovic gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Knight counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Andrei Snakovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Snakovic closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Snakovic lands in his opponent's guard.
Snakovic loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Snakovic is working Knight over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Knight is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Knight is looking for a sweep. Snakovic is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Snakovic lands a nice short elbow.
Snakovic works his foot free and advances to mount.
Snakovic won't let Knight get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Snakovic has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Knight's face.
Snakovic postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Knight looks a forlorn figure.

Knight felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
