The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Danis fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Ruediger checks it well.
Danis ducks under a wild hook from Ruediger.
Danis drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Ruediger defends it well.
Danis finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Ruediger swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Danis drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ruediger gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Danis is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Ruediger has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Danis has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Ruediger taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Danis doesn't care though - he's delighted!
