Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tristan St. Gough (ranked 1346 p4p, 1882 weight class) and Havar Bjornbak (ranked 181 p4p, 250 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

St. Gough has taken the fight to the clinch.
St. Gough throws a punch but it's blocked by Bjornbak.
St. Gough misses with a punch on the inside.
St. Gough definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

St. Gough feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Bjornbak sprawling to the canvas! Bjornbak rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can St. Gough finish him?!

St. Gough takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Bjornbak seems to have recovered his senses.

It seemed like Bjornbak was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bjornbak, as that shot connected.
It looks like Tristan St. Gough has been cut.
St. Gough moves into the clinch.
Bjornbak wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but St. Gough has him pressed against the cage.
Bjornbak breaks the clinch.
St. Gough is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
St. Gough tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Bjornbak counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for St. Gough to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Bjornbak!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Havar Bjornbak!
In his post fight interview, Havar Bjornbak started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
