This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 11 wins and 7 losses; Bazar Al Jhit! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 20 wins and 10 losses; Caius Cosades!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Al Jhit tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cosades defends well and Al Jhit ends up having to push Cosades into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Cosades drops down looking for an ankle pick but Al Jhit pulls his leg out and moves away.
Al Jhit closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cosades circles away.

Cosades throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Al Jhit tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Cosades is in Al Jhit's guard.

Cosades slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

My spies in Oblivion Gate inform me that Cosades has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Cosades bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Al Jhit's guard.

Al Jhit looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cosades is one step ahead there.

Al Jhit has his foot on Cosades's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cosades works his way back into a safe position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cosades is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Al Jhit has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Cosades is looking to defend but Al Jhit has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Cosades! Al Jhit pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Cosades taps out and this one is all over!
