Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dudley Dilbrandt (ranked 2689 p4p, 2821 weight class) and Eddie Bravo (ranked 278 p4p, 291 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dudley Dilbrandt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Eddie Bravo!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Thiago Cunha and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dilbrandt catches Bravo with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Dilbrandt wants to clinch up but Bravo keeps it at a distance.
Dilbrandt fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bravo manages to avoid it.
Dilbrandt throws a shot from downtown. Bravo moves away and avoids it.
Dilbrandt misses with a straight right.
Bravo tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Dilbrandt seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Dilbrandt tries to close the distance and clinch but Bravo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bravo tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Bravo wants to advance to full mount but Dilbrandt doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Bravo tries to free his leg and advance position but Dilbrandt is retaining full guard.

Bravo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Dilbrandt seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Bravo is pushing down on Dilbrandt's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dilbrandt is fighting to maintain full guard but Bravo has managed to sneak the leg through.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bravo misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Bravo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dilbrandt.
And Bravo tries to counter it with a takedown but Dilbrandt pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Dilbrandt scores with a hook to the body. Bravo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Dilbrandt connects with a body shot.
Bravo takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Dilbrandt takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Dilbrandt tries to clinch but Bravo is having none of it.
Bravo feints the counter takedown.
Dilbrandt takes a swing at Bravo's ribcage but misses.
Bravo throws the left hand but Dilbrandt avoids the punch easily.

Bravo tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Dilbrandt is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Eddie Bravo has got the better of the ground game so far.
