Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Juan Corona (ranked 144 p4p, 257 weight class) and Daniel Barbosa (ranked 15 p4p, 31 weight class). Corona comes to the cage accompanied by Lil Baby, Lil Durk - How It Feels. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corona throws a body shot but no joy.
Corona fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Barbosa just misses with a punch to the body.
Nice defenses there by Barbosa.
Corona cracks Barbosa with an open hand slap.
Corona throws a good cross that connects.
Corona misses with a straight left.
Corona lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Barbosa at a distance.

Juan Corona seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Barbosa tries to move into range but Corona moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Corona lands with a kick to the temple. Barbosa shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Corona feints and then cracks Barbosa's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Barbosa down.

Corona is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Barbosa gets his way!

Corona jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Barbosa is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Barbosa and Corona has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Corona is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Barbosa knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

That was a close second round but I would say that Juan Corona will probably get the nod.

Barbosa takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Barbosa lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Corona tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Barbosa has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Barbosa there as he acknowledges the shot.
Barbosa stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Barbosa's corner calls for a 1-2. Barbosa obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Barbosa cracks Corona with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Corona tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Barbosa pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Corona is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daniel Barbosa!
