Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Beer (ranked 2470 p4p, 1572 weight class) and Javier Pimba (ranked 308 p4p, 209 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tony Beer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Javier Pimba!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the liver by Beer. Beautiful body shot.
Beer feints a jab promting Pimba to slip. Beer then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Pimba slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Javier Pimba has been cut.
Beer throws a series of punches but Pimba avoids them all with ease.
Beer's jab looks to have found its range, popping Pimba under the eye.
Beer lunges at Pimba with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Pimba's hand.
Pimba swinging wildly here.
Pimba falls off balance throwing a combination
and Beer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Left hook, right uppercut from Pimba.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pimba throws a left and a right that both miss
and Beer counters with a crisp one two that drops Pimba! Beer thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Pimba to his feet! Pimba is in big trouble!
Pimba is rocked!
Pimba throws a combination that misses
and Beer counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Pimba off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Beer follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Pimba was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Tony Beer!
