PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Johnson (ranked 4444 p4p, 4210 weight class) and Walter Waite (ranked 489 p4p, 0 weight class). Walter Waite told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Johnson is predictable there

and Waite counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Waite.

Waite drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Waite seems to have locked his on tight now - Johnson screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Waite, as he picks up the win!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Walter Waite!
