The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whitlock pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Ahane feints the counter takedown.
Whitlock misses with a body shot.

Whitlock ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Whitlock dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Whitlock fails to land with a series of punches.
Whitlock scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ahane doesn't seem bothered though.

Whitlock cracks Ahane with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Whitlock fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ahane looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Whitlock just misses with a punch to the body.
Ahane is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Whitlock lands a left and a right that send Ahane crashing to the mat, dazed. Whitlock thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Whitlock lunges at Ahane with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ahane's hand.
Whitlock Throws a clean left jab. Whitlock Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Ahane's chin! Ahane crumbles to the ground and Whitlock follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Whitlock!
