Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mac Paining (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Wellwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mac Paining could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kyle Wellwood's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wellwood throws a body punch but Paining moves out of range.
Paining tries for a takedown but Wellwood sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Paining shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Wellwood's guard.

Paining drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Paining jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Paining is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Wellwood is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Wellwood has escaped and now he's on top!

Paining working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wellwood doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wellwood manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Wellwood feints and then cracks Paining's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Paining down.

Wellwood dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Paining shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wellwood pinned against the cage. Wellwood gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Wellwood lands a nice hook to Paining's body. Paining takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
