The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jodson misses with a head kick.
Jodson walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Morrison checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Jodson misses with a body shot.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Morrison! But no joy.
Jodson scores with a decent looking hook.
Jodson throws a big shot that misses.
A chopping leg kick lands by Morrison.

Morrison let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Dohn Jodson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morrison throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
It looked like Jodson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Jodson throws the left hand but Morrison avoids the punch easily.
We've been told by Jodson's head coaches at 3Band MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Jodson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Morrison.
Jodson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Jodson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Despite the aggression on Morrison's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jodson throws out a loose jab but Morrison uses good head movement to avoid it.

Morrison digs a good body shot into Jodson's ribs.
Jodson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Morrison lands with a cross.
Jodson scores with a jab. Morrison acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

It looks like Richard Morrison has been cut.

Morrison is still on wobbly legs! Can Jodson finish him?

Morrison seems to have recovered his senses.

Jodson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Morrison momentarily.

letting Morrison counter with a right hand.
Jodson closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Morrison! Jodson dives in looking to finish! Morrison is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
