Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Russell Pearce and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Edmund misses with a leg kick

and Black counters with a shoot takedown. Edmund fights it but they end up in guard.
Black seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Black in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
A nice leg kick lands there from Edmund.
Black really is a fat lump.
Edmund keeps the fight on the outside.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Edmund lands a nice hook to Black's body. Black takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Good exchange - Edmund coming out on top.
Edmund lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Black - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Edmund!
