This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 10 wins and 6 losses; Martez Lopez!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Lopez tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Beast manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Beast half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Lopez is looking to clinch but Beast is avoiding it.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Lopez manages to pull guard.
Beast trying to control the position from guard on top but Lopez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lopez not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
