Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luiz Rangel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marvin Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Luiz Rangel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marvin Brown!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Daniel Cesar and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rangel fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Rangel closes the distance and clinches up with Brown, looking for a takedown. Rangel pushes Brown against the cage but Brown circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Brown shoots in for a double leg but Rangel sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Brown walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Rangel checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Brown fails to land with a series of punches.

Brown gets caught flat footed, as Rangel shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Rangel won't allow Brown to sweep him here.

Rangel is breathing heavily.

Brown had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Rangel is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Brown Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Rangel's back instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brown decides to stand up, so the ref orders Rangel to his feet.
Rangel shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Brown pinned against the cage. Brown gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well Brown has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
