The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masamune tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kaspersky defends well and Masamune ends up having to push Kaspersky into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Kaspersky scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Masamune is trying to get back to full guard.
Masamune wants to control but Kaspersky is keeping busy.
Kaspersky winds up and cracks Masamune with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Kaspersky lands with a punch from half guard.
Masamune is looking to control Kaspersky's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Masamune avoid being mounted?
Kaspersky is nestled in close to Masamune, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Kaspersky has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Masamune defend it? Kaspersky steps over the head and cranks it - Masamune is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Kaspersky!
