Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kamaru Usman Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Samuel Summers!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Alyssa Summers and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Usman Jr staying out of range there.
Summers misses with a series of wild punches.
Usman Jr fails to land the takedown.
Usman Jr takes a swing at Summers's ribcage but misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Summers cracks Usman Jr with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Summers lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Usman Jr misses with a wild body shot.
Samuel Summers is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Usman Jr misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Summers! But no joy.
Summers misses with a hook.
Usman Jr half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

and Summers counters with a straight right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kamaru Usman Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Summers pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Summers scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Usman Jr is trying hard to land a takedown here. Summers sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Summers lands with a nice body punch.
Summers missing with a left hand there. Usman Jr was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Summers misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Usman Jr.
Usman Jr has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Summers finds it's way round the side to connect with Usman Jr's head.
Usman Jr moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Summers throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Usman Jr colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Summers as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Usman Jr is left battered and dazed whilst Summers and his camp cheer!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Samuel Summers!
Our winner, Samuel Summers, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
