Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hadr Bari (ranked 1425 p4p, 1873 weight class) and John Fuller (ranked 188 p4p, 243 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hadr Bari!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Fuller!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Fuller misses.
Fuller throws a hook but Bari blocks it.

Bari swings for the body but Fuller moves out of range.
The crowd cheers as Fuller lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bari doesn't seem phased though.
Bari ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Fuller connects with a right hand. Bari shakes it off.
Bari has been working on his boxing with his coaches at High Kicks in the buildup to the fight.
Fuller shoots in and bounces Bari off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Bari tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Fuller postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bari can't keep his opponent in guard - Fuller advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Bari walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Fuller checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Fuller fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bari looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Horrible takedown attempt by Fuller or perhaps it was just good defense by Bari, which made it look bad.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

John Fuller comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Fuller has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

John Fuller decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
