Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cesare Tiramanti (ranked 1024 p4p, 1800 weight class) and Osama Akharraz (ranked 139 p4p, 233 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 12 - 1, fighting out of New York, Cesare Tiramanti!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 41 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Osama Akharraz!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiramanti ducks under a wild hook from Akharraz.
Tiramanti tries to score with a low kick but Akharraz moves his leg out of the way.
Tiramanti scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Akharraz doesn't seem bothered though.
Akharraz cracks Tiramanti with a good jab.
Akharraz misses with a body punch
and Tiramanti counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Tiramanti avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Akharraz misses with a few strikes there.
Tiramanti decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Akharraz wants to get back to his feet.
Tiramanti looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Akharraz is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Akharraz felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Tiramanti moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Akharraz has worked his arm free - good work by Akharraz!
Akharraz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Akharraz is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Tiramanti asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Tiramanti working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Tiramanti is trying to get an arm triangle but Akharraz is defending well.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Akharraz pushes Tiramanti away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Tiramanti gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Tiramanti is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Akharraz has escaped the position, nice work there.
Tiramanti trying to control the position but Akharraz is working away.
Akharraz is trying to buck Tiramanti off.
Tiramanti is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Akharraz is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Akharraz is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Tiramanti has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Tiramanti is looking to take a break and control but Akharraz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Tiramanti tries to advance to mount but can't.
Akharraz throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Akharraz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tiramanti manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Tiramanti is looking to counter punch.
Akharraz misses with a series of wild punches.
Akharraz throws a right hand that Tiramanti ducks under and follows up with a left that Tiramanti also avoids with ease.
A counter left hand to the body from Tiramanti misses its target.
Akharraz throws a big shot that misses.
Akharraz looks to land a combination. Tiramanti sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Tiramanti shoots in and bounces Akharraz off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tiramanti passes Akharraz's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Akharraz pushes Tiramanti off looking to stand but Tiramanti dives back in and keeps control.
Akharraz has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Tiramanti is on him like a limpet, forcing Akharraz back against the cage.
Tiramanti pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Cesare Tiramanti will probably get the nod.
That's time! Tiramanti's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A punch combination from Akharraz misses.
Akharraz swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tiramanti swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Tiramanti keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Akharraz avoids the body shot from Tiramanti.
Akharraz let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Akharraz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Osama Akharraz seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Tiramanti circles away from the clinch attempt.
Akharraz goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Tiramanti jabs Akharraz right on the nose. Akharraz blinks but takes it well.
Tiramanti scores with a head kick.
Akharraz moves into range and connects with a jab.
Good exchange - Tiramanti coming out on top.
Akharraz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tiramanti shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Akharraz's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tiramanti is standing up over Akharraz. Akharraz looks to escape but Tiramanti dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Akharraz is pushing Tiramanti's head away, looking to escape. Tiramanti manages to hold on to the position though.

Tiramanti stands up and beckons Akharraz to his feet.
Akharraz chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tiramanti can pounce on him.

Akharraz throws an off balance right hand
and Tiramanti makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Osama Akharraz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Tiramanti lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

and Tiramanti counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Tiramanti turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Akharraz is still on wobbly legs! Can Tiramanti finish him?
Akharraz backs away from a small jab... but Tiramanti lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Akharraz crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Tiramanti with a spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Cesare Tiramanti!
In his post fight interview, Cesare Tiramanti started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
