Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Castle (ranked 4724 p4p, 4719 weight class) and Turk Barrett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castle throws a shot from downtown. Barrett moves away and avoids it.
Barrett dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Barrett scores with a nice strike.
Turk Barrett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Castle looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Castle cracks Barrett with a right hand to the side of the head.
Barrett digs a good body shot into Castle's ribs.
Castle lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

It looks like Turk Barrett has been cut.
Barrett lands the left hand.
Barrett fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Castle manages to avoid it.
A swing and a miss from Castle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barrett uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Castle.
Castle lands with a nice body punch.
Castle ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Barrett moves away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Castle. Barrett does a little dance to reset his feet.
Castle walks into a jab.
Castle takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Barrett lands with a right hand.
Barrett misses the shot to the body.

Barrett lands a nice shot to the body.
Castle takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A jab lands there for Barrett.
Barrett lands with an uppercut that bounces Castle off the cage and back into range.
Castle takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Castle is rocked!
Barrett cracks Castle with an open hand slap.
Oh Castle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Barrett takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Castle seems to have got his legs back now.
Castle gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Barrett's corner calls for a 1-2. Barrett obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Barrett cracks Castle with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Barrett has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Castle to stand back up!

Barrett moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Barrett wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Castle gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Barrett gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Castle is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

During a confident post fight interview, Turk Barrett thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
